Reader says Popcorn King has to be Rodney L. Thompson, Sr. To the editor, ColumbiaMagazine.com: Even though I am not acquanted with Jerry Marshall, I stand tall and feel I was the "Popcorn King" of Adair County, at least in the 50"s. While Robert Flowers and Jerry Marshall stand tall in this catagory, they were after me.
