Mary's House: Mini update - $106 more added Saturday morning Mary's House: Total Saturday, August 4, 2012, climbs to $33,399. by mid-day A number of churches plan special offerings Sunday, August 5, 2012. Thanks to an innovative idea from Matt Baker at the Flatwoods Diner, 6970 Burkesville Road, Columbia, KY, $106 was added to the Mary's House fund in just 4 hours this morning! Mr. Baker started a donations jar at the store, to make it easier for his customers to help our cause. He asked us to take what had been raised this morning, just to let everyone know that more people are helping us meet our goal. The donations jar will be available until we are at $40,000, he said. We haven't heard if any other stores in the county have accepted his challenge to follow suit, but wouldn't it be great if contributions were to be matched to cut days off the time needed to get the project underway.Latest numbers for Mary's House as of Saturday, August 4, at 12pmCT:
