Roy Lockridge, age 68 of Knifley, KYpassed away Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 7:20am, at his home.

Funeral services are Monday, August 6, 2012 at 10amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQuearyFuneral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Jody Perkins the officiating clergy. Interment in the Robinson Chapel Cemetery with full military honors by Columbia VFWPost 6097. The family request visitation after 3pmCT, Sunday, August 5, 2012, at the funeral home.


Roy Lockridge, Adair County, KY (1943-2012)

Roy Lockridge, was born in Watertown, Jefferson County, New York on Friday, August 27, 1943. He was the son of the late: Harry Franklin and Mary Ray Lockridge. He died Saturday, August 4, 2012, in Knifley, Adair County, KY, at the age of 68 years, 11 months, and 8 days.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Perkins Lockridge, of Knifley, KY and the following:
  • Three sons: Rodger Dale Bottoms and wife Amanda of Jacksonville, FloridaRoy Allen Lockridge of Whites, KY, and Harry Franklin Lockridge of White, KY

  • Four brothers: John Lockridge of Indiana; David Royal of Louisville, KY; Mike Royal of Indiana; and Harry Franklin Lockridge of Indiana

  • One sister: Sally Nicholas of Indiana

  • One half sister: Mary Royal of Louisville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Ashley Brooke Bottoms and Dakota Rodger Bottoms of Florida
