She was a highly respected member of the Campbellsville, KY, community. She had retired from Citizens Bank & Trust Company in Campbellsville, KY, after career there of some 40 years. She professed faith in Christ was a member of Early's Chapel United Methodist Church

Wanda Walters, 76, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 2:15pmET, Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in Campbellsville., KY 76

Funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT,, Saturday, August 4, 2012 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Paul J. Dicken, Rev. Lawrence Brockman Jr. and Rev. Roger Newell. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmET/4pm-7pmCT, Friday, August 3, 2012 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Pallbearers: Paul Akridge, Robby Gaddie, Dennis Keltner, Doug Thompson, Larry Walters, and Norman WilliamsHonorary pallbearers: Citizens Bank & Trust Company employees.

Wanda Walters, Taylor Co., KY (1936-2012)

Wanda Walters was the daughter of the late Bennie Thompson and Bonnie Eastridge Thompson. She was born Tuesday, April 21, 1936 in Taylor County, Kentucky.She died at Tuesday, July 31, 2012 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 76 years, 3 months, and 10 days.

She professed faith in Christ was a member of Early's Chapel United Methodist Church.

She retired from Citizens Bank and Trust Company after some forty years of service.

She united in marriage to Horace Walters February 12, 1960. He preceded her in death January 8, 1970.

She is survived by the following:
  • One daughter and son in law: Dianna and Matthew Hayden of Louisville, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Samantha Hayden, Myra Hayden and Andrew Hayden of Louisville, KY

  • One brother and his wife, Randall and JoAnn Thompson of Hemet, California, KY

  • Three sisters in law: Lois Thompson, Pauline Williams and Frances Curry, all of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Doyle Thompson.
