Please send events for August 2012 Because of the growing size of the Events database, we are asking regular users to call 270-250-2730 about posts, cancellations, and revisions and corrections. An events posting is complex. For any edits, it is critically important that we have the ID number of the item to be corrected. This is easiest when the reply button, for Events Comments/Corrections is used. With it the operation can be swift and accurate. Without it, a search can take needless time and may result in more errors. -CM As always, Events simply must have Street & Number for Venue. Otherwise they are not posted. The Events Calendar has been updated for August 2012. If your organization's events are not in ColumbiaMagazine.com Events, please send as soon as possible to get the the greatest impact for your event. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful response we've gotten to appeals to submit Events in our format. We especially appreciate the help of the members of the Adair County Ministerial Association, public officials, and schools and institutions. And of course, we appreciate those public minded advertisers and supporters without whom ColumbiaMagazine.com could not be possible. We're including a few notes below for those who may not be familiar with our process for handling news items: Please include the answers to the 5W's and an H, as in this checklist:
