Mrs. Clara Hall Wright, 98, of Campbellsville, KY, a native of Green County, KY, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Grandview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Campbellsville. She was 98 years, six months and 15 days of age.

The funeral service for Mrs. Clara Hall Wright will be conducted at 1pmCT, Monday, July 30, 2012 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 South Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville. Bro. Otis Skaggs will be officiating. Visitation is requested after 9amCT, Monday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time for the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Personnel of the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home.

Honorary Pallbearers: Marilyn Bibb, Louvera Wright, Marshall Cave, Ruby Colvin Amy Jessie Richard, and Gracie Jeter.

Mrs. Clara Hall Wright, of Campbellsville, a native of Green County, KY was born on January 12, 1914 to Ambrose and Lizzie Druin and passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY. She was 98 years, 6 months and 15 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church. She had served as a nursing assistant at the Green Hill Manor Nursing Facility.

She united in marriage to Albert Lee Wright on September 1, 1934 who preceded her in death on April 13, 1983.

Mrs. Wright is survived by the following:
  • Her son and daughter-in-law: Douglas G. & Nadine Wright of Campbellsville, KY

  • Her daughter: Veva Geralds of Greensburg, KY

  • Her granddaughter: LeAnn Detherage and husband Robbie of Loretto, KY

  • And three sisters-in-law: Jeanie Hall, Betty Hall, and Lonis Hall, all of Greensburg, KY
She was preceded in death by a son: Darral Wright; four brothers: Wayne Hall, Robert Hall, Scott Hall and Glen Hall and two sisters: Ruby Hall and Estell Blankenship.

Memorials are suggested to the Gideon Bibles International, which can be made at the funeral home.

The Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 South Main Street, Greensburg, KY, 206 South Main Street, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
