Calloway Co. took first place with a 323 and also had the low individual Anna Hack who posted a four under par 68. Second place went to Henry Clay and third place was Allen County Scottsville. The second place individual was Lydia Gumm from North Hardin. Adair was led by its two seniors, Ashley Goodin 88 and Abby Royse 99. Junior, Rachel Phipps shot 105 and 7th grader Hailey Taylor shot 130. Coach's Comment - I thought we played pretty well for our first outing of the year. We kept a good attitude throughout the entire round but did show signs of fatigue near the end. All our girls can play better and will. Our 7th grader, Hailey Taylor improved her score by 20 strokes on the back nine which indicates what she is capable of once she settles in. - Coach Kim Goodin Location of today's competition: Green County Invitational at the Green County Golf Club, 158 Golf Course Road (Bing Map/Directions), Greensburg, KY This story was posted on 2012-07-29 06:41:45
