Superintendent Reed: Threat against Adair schools under control Related story: Juvenile makes a threat against an Adair County School Superintendent Alan W. Reed updated the threat by a juvenile to "blow up a school," posted yesterday. He said that the child making the threat has been identified. He said, when contacted Sunday morning, that he thinks the situation is being properly handled. "Kentucky State Police, the School SRO officer, Principals at all of the Adair County Schools are aware of the situation and on alert to protect the safety of the district's students." he said, and added, "We do not believe the child poses a threat at this time." -CM This story was posted on 2012-07-22 08:38:32
