Darlene Brandenburg, 52, a resident of Liberty Care Center, formerly of the Knifley community, died Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 5:45 A.M. at the Casey County Hospital in Liberty, KY.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 11amCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Hugh Withers & Bro. Chris Murphy officiatingBurial in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation is after 5pmCT, Monday, July 23, 2012.



Darlene Brandenburg, Knifley, Adair Co., KY (1960-2012)

She was born Tuesday, March 29, 1960, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY. She was the daughter of the late William Bray Jr., and Sue Chandler Bray, who survives, of Knifley, KY. She died Saturday, July 21, 2012, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 52 years, 3 months, and 23 days.

In addition to her mother, Sue Bray, she is survived by:
  • Her husband: Ronnie Brandenburg of Knifley, KY

  • One son: Lee Brandenburg of Roley, KY

  • One daughter: Jennifer (Marty) Pyles of Knifley, KY

  • Five brothers: Danny (Chris) Bray, Ricky (Angela) Bray, Joe (Tracy) Bray all of Campbellsville, KY; Bobby (Deedra) Bray & Bill (Melissa) Bray all of Knifley, KY

  • Four sister: Peggy Bray of Campbellsville, Karen (Jimmy) Overstreet of Knifley, Tina (Joe) Coffman & Missy Gibson all of Cleveland, TN

  • One grandchild: Cassie Ann Richard
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Trudy Ann Brandenburg.

Darlene was a member of Knifley Christian Church and a homemaker.
