Hospital one of most critical issues community may ever face Mike Newton comments Westlake Hospital IS one of this county's most valuable assets...we have absolutely no chance of having any sort of economic growth without this facility. I can't imagine this county being the only one around without a hospital; however, I think that a lot of us are becoming more and more concerned. (potential closure) I hope this fine community can somehow pull together in order to prevent this potential disaster. Having public meetings at 9:00 AM on a regular workday was inconsiderate and unthoughtful. I hope and pray that this issue can be resolved in order for our community to survive in a lifestyle which it truly deserves. I know that my family, friends, and co-workers appreciate our hospital. We sometimes don't appreciate what we have until one of ours has no medical or emergency healthcare options. This will be one of the most critical issues that this community may ever face.....I hope for the best. Thanks - Mike Newton This story was posted on 2012-07-19 11:38:32
