Kids Need Kicks 2012: Drive for shoes is now underway The goal is 300 pairs of shoes to help children who need them for school By Cricket McCloud With the start of the school year right around the corner, the students of Adair County need your help! It is our goal, our ministry, to bring that joy to children and lessen the burden for families during these difficult economic times. Currently, there are approximately 200 requests for students in Adair County needing shoes and we along with area churches are working hard to fulfill the requests, but more shoes and monetary donations are needed. Our goal is to have 300 pairs shoes this year. Shoe and monetary donations can be dropped off at the Columbia Christian Church, 206 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, between the hours of 8am-12pm noonCTIf you choose to make a donation, please make checks payable to: Family Resource Center. Payments can be mailed to Cricket McCloudThank you for your continued support! - Cricket McCloud This story was posted on 2012-07-06 13:39:34
