More on how Smokey got home: A good Samaritan helped Little dog did not come home on his own. Someone - elated family too excited to get name - actually carried him door to door in the neighborhood around WAIN radio area until they found the right home - and made some Blankenship children very happy By Jackie Blankenship Thank you so much for your help with our lost dog Smokey yesterday. I was probably not clear on the phone since we were so excited that we had found our dog. Actually, he did not come home on his own. Someone who lives on 206 found him and came to our house to see if he belonged to us. The man did not see the ad- I don't think. He actually started knocking on doors until he came to our house and found out the dog belonged to us. I thought that was rather kind of him to go out of his way to find the dog's owner.MBR Comments re article 52952 Long hair dachshund missing from the WAIN radio area This story was posted on 2012-07-06 03:00:41
