Michael Carl (Mike) Davis, Burkesville, KY (1954-2012) He was a member of a highly regarded Cumberland County family. He leaves two direct living descendants. He attended Liberty United Methodist Church and Holy Cross Catholic Church. He was a driller and a construction worker Mr. Michael Carl "Mike" Davis, age 57, of Burkesville, Ky., passed away Saturday June 30, 2012 at the Cumberland County Hospital in Burkesville, Kentucky. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 4pmCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 2pmCT, Monday July 2, 2012 until service time Tuesday. Michael Carl (Mike) Davis, Burkesville, KY (1954-2012) He was born on Thursday July 15, 1954 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, the son of Weldon "Corky" and Molly Irby Davis. He died Saturday, June 30, 2012, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 57 years, 11 months, and 15 days. He attended Liberty United Methodist Church and Holy Cross Catholic Church. He was a driller, and construction worker. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, G.I. and Clancie Davis and maternal grandparents, Jim and Mary Irby. He is survived by his wife, Cathey Barger Davis of Burkesville, KY, and the following:
