Flags: Hopes flag situation updated by July 4th

Joe Hare writes
I thank Walter Murley for bringing the flags to our attention. I had been noticing the condition of the flags put up by the City and was hoping they would correct this. Those that are tattered and torn would be a lot better if they were taken down. I understand that it may not be possible, but if this could be completed before the 4th, would be really great.

Maybe a few well placed flags to welcome our visitors would be less expensive and a lot easier to take care of. I appreciate the effort and expense the city has incurred installing this large number of flags, and hope something can be worked out to keep our community proudly displaying or flag.
