Ed, how do I put the app for CM on my Kindle Fire? Thanks --Martha Berry

Martha, thanks very much for writing. We experimented with native applications for mobile devices last year, and decided that the best, easiest solution for everyone was a quick-loading mobile version of Columbia Magazine, which is available at this address:
columbiamagazine.com/mobile
If you know how to launch a web browser on your Kindle Fire or other mobile device, you can just visit columbiamagazine.com/mobile and then bookmark it. On iPhones and Android devices, you can "Save to Home" to make the bookmark look like any other application and launch our site with one button press.

To add a bookmark on your Kindle Fire, go to columbiamagazine.com/mobile, tap the Bookmarks icon (at the bottom), and then tap the box with the "+" in the upper-left.
