Mr. Joe Preston "Preacher" Fudge, age 89, of the Grider Community in Cumberland Co. Ky. passed away on Wednesday May 30, 2012 at his residence in Cumberland County, KY.Funeral services for Joe Preston "Preacher" Fudge will be conducted on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 1pmCT in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY. Burial will follow in the Grider Memorial Cemetery. The family is receiving friends after 4pmCT, Friday June 1, 2012 until service time on Saturday, June 2, 2012.


Survivors include his wife, Gertha Fudge of Burkesville, KY, and the following:
  • His children: Margenia Keeton of Burkesville, KY; Vicki Lawson of Lexington,KY; , and Robin (and Russell) Gray of Cynthiana, KY

  • His sisters: Juanita Denham of Bowling Green, KY; and Addina Graves of Glasgow, KY

  • Six grandchildren

  • Three great-grandchildren
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Grider United Methodist Church or the Grider Memorial Cemetery.
