Garnett Lee Pittman, 66, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at the Ephriam McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY.

Funeral services officiated by Reverend Bill Hill will be held at 1pmET/12pm noon CT, Friday, June 1st , 2012 at the Bartle Funeral Home Chapel in Liberty, Kentucky. Visitation will be 6pm-9pmET/5pm-8pmCT on Thursday evening May 31, 2012 and after 8amET/7amCT, Friday morning at the Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Valley Oak Cemetery.



Garnett Lee Pittman, Casey Co., KY (1945-2012)

He was the son of the late Aaron B. Pittman and SuzanPauline Elliott Pittman. He was born in Yosemite, Casey County, KY, on Thursday, August 2, 1945 and died Tuesday, May 29, 2012, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 66 years, 9 months, and 27 days.

He was a truck driver for Wilson and Neat.

He was preceded in death by one sister; Emma Jane VanNiman and one brother; Paul Pittman.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three sons: Gregory Pittman of Linden, North Carolina;Timothy Pittman of Yosemite, KY; and Bruce Pittman of Bethelridge,KY

  • Six grandchildren

  • Three great-grandchildren

  • And two brothers; SherrilPittman of Butlerville, Ohio and Pat Pittman of Yosemite, KY
