Margaret Raley Coffman, Bradsfordsville, KY (1923-2012)

Mrs. Coffman was a member of the St. Augusta Catholic Church. She was a housewife and a foster parent. She also wrote for the Casey County Newspaper for many years.

Margaret Raley Coffman, age 89, of Bradfordsville, KY, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at Liberty Care Center. Liberty, KY.

Funeral mass will be at 11amET/10amCT, Friday, May 25, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 21 S Wallace Wilkinson Boulevard, Liberty, KY, with Father Patrick Dolan and Bro. Brent Huggins officiating. Burial will follow in Old Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be 6pm-9pmET/5pm-8pmCT on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY.


Margaret Raley Coffman, Bradsfordsville, KY (1923-2012)

She was born Tuesday, February 27, 1923, in Marion Co., KY. She was a daughter of the late George Washington and Florence Gribbins Raley. She died Tuesday, May 22, 2012, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 89 years, 2 months, and 24 days.

Mrs. Coffman was a member of the St. Augusta Catholic Church. She was a housewife and a foster parent. She also wrote for the Casey County Newspaper for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Otis "Bob" Coffman.

Survivors include the following:
  • Her sons: Donald Coffman of Bradfordsville, KY; and Jim (Teresa) Coffman of Liberty, KY

  • Daughter: Linda (Pat) Wethington of Elizabethtown, KY

  • Brother: Carl (Jean) Raley of Mt. Washington, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Robert (Susan) Wethington, Richard Wethington, Christopher Coffman, Michael Coffman, and Walker Raley Coffman

  • Two great-grandchildren, Ashlee and Abigail Wethington
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
