Earl Lee Coffman, Casey Co., KY (1953-2012)

He was a member of a respected Casey County family with relatives over a wide area of South Central Kentucky, including Adair County. He was a mechanic by occupation.

Earl Lee Coffman passed away on Monday May 14, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 59 years of age.

Funeral services were officiated by Brother Jeff Edwards will begin at 1pmET/12pm noon CT, Friday afternoon May 18, 2012 at the Bartle Funeral Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, Kentucky. Burial will follow in the Tapscott Cemetery.

Earl Lee Coffman was born in Liberty, Casey County, Kentucky on January 16, 1953. He died Monday, May 14, 2012, at the age of 59 years, 3 months and 29 days.

He was 59 years old and the son of Katherine Coffman Compton.

Earl was a mechanic by occupation.

Survivors include:
  • One daughter: Emily Coffman of Liberty, KY

  • Three sons; ShaneCoffman of Brownsburg, Indiana; Israel Coffman of Liberty, KY; and Seth Coffman of Elkhorn, KY

  • Six grand children

  • Two sisters: Donna Faye Wiser ofDanville, KY, and Patricia Johnson of Bradsfordsville, KY

  • Three brothers: Gene Coffman of Jamestown, Indiana, Gerald Compton of Bradsfordsville, Kentucky and Jeff Compton of Columbia, KY.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Bartle Funeral Home to help cover finalexpenses.
