Pauline C. Daffron, Taylor Co., KY (1913-2012)

She was a native of Wayne County, KY and the matriarch of a large, respected Taylor County, KY, family and leaves a host of direct living descendants to mourn her death. She had professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith

Pauline C. Daffron, 89, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 12:28pm, Monday, May 14, 2012, in Greensburg, KY.

Funeral services are at 2pmET/1pmCT, Thursday, May 17, 2012 ,at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Jim Durham. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, W. Main Street, Campbellsville, KY.



Pallbearers: Terry Daffron, Barry McMahan, Willard Greer, Josh McMahan, Keith Hardin, Danny Spurling, Tye Hardin, Dean Spurling, Junior McCubbin, Robert Spurling, Stan McCubbin, Chris Wright, Todd McCubbin, and Gary D. Wright.

Pauline C. Daffron, Taylor Co., KY (1913-2012)

Pauline C. Daffron was the daughter of the late Jim Crouch and Minnie Upchurch Crouch. She was born in Wayne County, Kentucky, June 29, 1913. She died Monday, May 14, 2012, in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 98 years, 19 months, and 15 days.

She had professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.

She united in marriage to Claude Price Daffron December 7, 1929. He preceded her in death September 23, 1984.

She is survived by the following:
  • Six daughters and one son: Eva Spurling, Anna Marie Edelen, Tommy Daffron and wife, Lois, Betty McCubbin and husband, Stanley, Barbara A. Wright, Mary McMahan and husband, Jerry and Lytha Lou Noel, all of Campbellsville, KY

  • Seventeen grandchildren

  • Thirty-three great-grandchildren

  • Several great-great-grandchildren

  • Several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter and two sons: Neva Greer February 24, 1998, Phillip Daffron July 21, 2001 and Claude Junior Daffron July 5, 2008 and two brothers: Jim Ed Crouch and Isaac Thomas Crouch.

The Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, in charge of arrangements.
