Please be on lookout for Bootsie, a little B/W Chihuahua

She may have wandered off. Family is hoping coyotes have not gotten her. She's a bit unfriendly to strangers and snappish with anyone who might hassle her. Larry Smith has been notified to keep a look out his front window for her. Family lives just 1/4 mile across the road from the WAVE FM 92.7 radio station tower

By Richard Raines

I'm contacting you on the possibility one of our dogs wandered off. I let her out yesterday morning about 6 and she never came to come back in. Her name is Bootsie.

She is a black and white Chihuahua about 8 years old. Main color is black with white chest, 3 white feet, and a white tip on her tail. She would weigh about 8 or 9 pounds. Her hair is not slick like a normal Chihuahua, but about the length of a beagle's hair. She is just starting to gray in the muzzle. She is not normally very friendly to strangers and will snap if someone "hassle" her.

We live about 1/4 mile (across the field) from the WHVE station and tower. Phone numbers are 270-384-3008, 507-6164, or 270-507-6168. If someone were to see her, I'd appreciate a call. (Something may have gotten her-- our yard stops at woods on 3 sides and we have coyotes back on the farm)-- but I'm contacting you just in case she wandered off. --Richard Raines
