Taylor County, KY man arrested on sex charge, resisting arrest Investigation leads to struggle. TCSO reports that a deputy was struck two times with a bat, but that the deputy was not injured A Taylor County, KY, man faces multiple charges including resisting arrest after Officers of the Taylor County Sheriff's Office (TCSO), along with the Kentucky State Probation and Parole Office responded to 665 W. Martin Road, located between Campbellsville, KY and Green River lake in Taylor County after receiving information about a possible parole violation and possible crimes committed against a child. Kenneth Agee 46, of 665 W. Martin Road, Taylor County, was arrested, lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center in Campbellsville, KY, and faces these charges: 1) Unlawful transaction with a minor, 1st degree, a Class B Felony; 2) Promoting the sexual performance of a minior under 16 years of age, a Class B Felony; 3) Assault 1st Degree (Police Officer), a Class B Felony, and 4) Resisting Arrest, a Class A Misdemeanor. According to the TCSO, while the officers were investigating the information, Mr. Agee fled to a back room and retrieved a metal bar, termed a lethal weapon in the report, and a struggle ensued. During the struggle, officers report, Mr. Agee struck a Taylor County Sheriff's Deputy two times with the bat.The TCSO notes that the deputy was not injured. A brief standoff occurred, but Mr. Agee was ultimtely taken into custody by the Taylor County Sheriff's Department and the Campbellsville Police Department. According to the TCSO report, "The charges of unlawful transaction with a minor and promoting the sexual performance of a minior under 16 years of age stemmed from an investigation by the Taylor County Sheriff's Department that Mr. Agee, on May 9, 2012, directed a minor, (Age 12) to perform illegal sexual acts and attempted to pay her for such acts. Mr. Agee was treated at the Taylor County Hospital and lodge in the Taylor County Detention Center. Mr. Agee is on the KSP (Kentucky State Police) Sex Offender Registry."
