(Ad) A Tradition at Cafe on the Square grows every finals week We at the Cafe couldn't be any more thankful to be a part of such a great place, Columbia, KY. From Cafe on the Square 212 Public Square, Columbia, KY Finals Week. That statement is profoundly understood by so many in Columbia but for those that aren't aware, it is a grueling crunch-time for students as they prepare to take their final exams. Many seemingly endless hours are spent in studying and memorizing and studying and memorizing. Well, by now you get the point. Cafe on the Square started a tradition that is rapidly becoming a community event. At the Cafe, we stay open 24 hours a day during that marathon week, we offer free food, drinks, coffee and WiFi, etc The best thing is what the businesses and some private donors are doing. We have had astounding donations from Walmart, Lee's Famous Recipe, Pizza Hut, Fiesta Mexico, IGA, Save a Lot and massage from Jill England, as well as donors for coffee! Talk about a community pulling together to support our students during some of the craziest days in school. We at the Cafe couldn't be any more thankful to be a part of such a great place, Columbia, KY. Thank you all! for your help! And if ever anyone wants to see what happens during the wee hours of finals week, you should come visit us at Cafe on the Square, it's nuts and we love it! - Cafe on the Square This story was posted on 2012-05-10 11:30:11
