Brenda Propes Crowe, of Stanford, KY, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford. She was 56.

Funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT, Friday, May 11, 2012, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Bearl King officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9amET Friday at the funeral home.



Brenda Propes Crowe, Stanford, KY (1956-2012)


Born Friday, February 24, 1956, in Chilton, Casey Co., KY, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Lewis and Mary Elizabeth Downs Propes. She died Tuesday, May 8, 2012, in Stanford, Lincoln County, KY at the age of 56 years, 2 months, and 13 days.

She was a homemaker and attended Cornerstone Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include the following:
  • Her son: Jessie Crowe of Searcy, AR

  • Daughters: Roxanne Crowe of Stanford, KY; and Barbara Harris of Jonesboro, AR

  • Brothers: Lewis Propes of Somerset, KY; Steve Propes of Lancaster, Ky: Jimmy Propes of Danville, KY; and James Propes of St. Louis, MO

  • Sisters: Wanda Clark of Lawrenceburg, KY; Linda Adkins of Waynesburg, KY; Donna Fortune of Lexington, and Mona McElroy of St. Louis, MO

  • Five grandchildren
She was preceded in death by one brother and 2 sisters.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to help offset funeral expenses.
