He was a native of the Crocus Community and a member of a respected family with strong family ties in Adair and Russell Counties, KY.

Thomas Bradshaw, 81, a resident of Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown, formerly of the Crocus community in Russell County, died Monday, May 7, 2012 at 2:53 P.M. at Fair Oaks in Jamestown, KY.

Funeral service will be at 12pm noon CT, Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Joe McKee officiating. Burial in Holt Cemetery in Russell County. Visitation after 11amCT, Saturday, at the funeral home.



Thomas Bradshaw, Adair Co., KY (1931-2012)

He was born March 8, 1931, in Crocus, KY. He was the son of the late Will and Rachel Holt Bradshaw. He died Monday, May 7, 2012, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 81 years, 1 month, and 30 days.

Survivors include the following::
  • His wife: Claudette Duncan of Russellville, KY

  • Two children: Kevin Bradshaw of Hazard & Virginiaette Bradshaw of Russellville, KY

  • One brother: Herlon Bradshaw of Jamestown, KY

  • Two sisters : Ramona Smith and Winnie Jackson both of Louisville, KY

  • Several other relatives and friends
