Rev. Ben W. White, age 77 of Greensburg passed away Saturday at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, KY

Funeral services for Rev. Ben W. White will be conducted 11amCT, Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 693 Haskinsville Road, Greensburg, KY, Burial will follow in the Green Co. Memory Gardens in Summersville, KY. Friends may call 3pm-8pmCT, Tuesday, May 8, 2012, and 7am-9amCT, Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W. Court Street, Greensburg, KY, and after 10amCT, Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.



He is survived by his wife Ella Ingram White, and the following:
  • One son: David Whyte of DeKalb, Illinois

  • One daughter and son-in-law: Lucille and Shelby Dixon of Bonnieville, KY

  • One brother: James R. White of Indianapolis, Indiana

  • Five sisters: Ernestine Jackson and ElizabethNewby of Louisville, KY; Susie Barnett of Greensburg, KY; Barbara Porter of Lebanon, KY; and MarthaRichardson of Nicholasville, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Lucretia Campbell, Benoni Dixon and BradHoller

  • Eight great-grandchildren

  • And one aunt: Beatrice McGill of St. Louis, Missouri.
Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W. Court Street, Greensburg, KY, in charge of arrangements.
