Newcomb Oil Co./Fivestar donates $1,000 for new band uniforms

Band will perform in new outfits beginning Fall 2012 marching season

News from the Adair County High School Band

Newcomb Oil Co./Fivestar, Columbia, KY donated $1,000 to the Band Boosters fundraising campaign for new ACHS Marching Band uniforms.

Making the presentation was Neal Coomer, Manager of the Newcomb Oil Columbia Plant. The donation was accepted on behalf of the band by David Herbst Booster President, and Mayor/Band Booster parent Mark Harris.

The KMEA State Marching Band Champions will be performing in the new uniforms beginning this Fall 2012 marching season. - Teresa Bright
