Geneva Christine Dalton, Casey Co., KY (1930-2012)

She was a Retired Postal Clerk and the matriarch of a large, respected Northeast Casey County family. She leaves 47 direct living descendants.

Geneva Christine Dalton, 81, passed away on Wednesday April 18, 2012 at the Casey County Hospital, Liberty, KY.

Funeral services officiated by Reverend Chris Dalton will begin at 2pmET/1pmCT, at Willow Springs Methodist Church, Clear Branch Road, Casey County, KY. Burial will follow in the Willow Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from at 6pmET/5pmCT, on Friday evening April 20, 2012 at the Bartle Funeral Home, 231 Lynn Street, Middleburg, and after 11amET/10amCT, Saturday morning April 21, 2012 at Willow Springs United Methodist Church.



Geneva Christine Dalton, Casey Co., KY (1930-2012)

Geneva Christine Dalton was the daughter of the late Alonzo Morgan and Sarah Bastin Morgan. She was born on Wednesday, May 21, 1930 and passed away on Wednesday April 18, 2012 In Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 81 years, 10 months, and 28 days.



She was a retired postal service clerk.

She was preceded in death by her spouse; William Terrel Dalton, and by one daughter: Mary Alice Hatter; six brothers: Eardest, Paul, Leonard, Segal, Reid and Junior Morgan, and two sisters; Mary Ponder and Nellie McAninch.

Survivors include;
  • Three sons, Terrel and (Aileen) Dalton of Somerset, KY; Larry and (Teresa Dalton of Middleburg, KY, and Gary and (Ruth Ann) Dalton of Liberty, KY

  • Two daughters; Gerry Faye and (Les) Murphy and Cherry Rose and (Roger) Richardson both of Liberty, KY

  • Fourteen grandchildren

  • Twenty-five great grandchildren

  • Three great-great-grandchildren

  • One brother: Tommy Morgan of Liberty, KY
