Campbellsville Police make arrests in gun sale case

Two Campbellsville, KY, women, one from Green County, KY, lodged in Taylor Detention Center. Police seize three guns believe to have been stolen in a residential burglary in Adair County, KY

The Campbellsville Police Department Wednesday, April 16, 2012, received information from a citizen reporting the possible sale of stolen weapons. Officers responded to the call and a subsequent investigation led to three (3) arrests. The arrest occurred at 114 Davis Street, in Campbellsville, KY.

Officer Ryan Jewell seized three (3) guns which are believed to have been stolen in a residential burglary in Adair County.



Arrested at approximately 4:30pmET, Wednesday, at 114 Davis Street in Campbellsville, KY were:
  • Amanda Marcum, age 32 of Greensburg, KY
  • Melissa Bagby, age 42 of Campbellsville, KY
  • Victoria Strader, age 51 of Campbellsville, KY
The investigation revealed two of the three (3) suspects were convicted felons. All three were arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property.Marcum and Bagby were charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

All three were lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center, Campbellsville, KY.
