New parent link on Adair County website

By Phyllis Curry, Instructional Supervisor
News from Adair County, KY, School District

The Adair County school district now has a new parent link on the website that includes information about how parents and guardians of students in grades 6-12 can access and review their child's Individual Learning Plan (ILP). Students in grades 6-12 are required to complete an ILP that is designed to bring together their academic achievements, extracurricular experiences, and career and education exploration activities in one place.

The guidelines for the ILP state parents/guardians are to review their child's ILP at least once each school year and sign off that they have reviewed the plan. The Power Point posted on the parent link of the Adair County school district website explains the process. Parents may also contact their child's guidance counselor at ACES, ACMS or ACHS or contact Phyllis Curry at 270-384-2476 for user names and passwords to access the ILP. --Phyllis Curry
