Visitation will be from 6pmET/5pmCT,. Tuesday evening April 10, 2012 at the Bartle Funeral Chapel, 142 KY 49, Liberty, KY. Funeral services officiated by Brother Gary Lavender will begin at 3pmET/2pmCT, Wednesday afternoon April 11, 2012 at the Bartle Funeral Chapel in Liberty, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Jamamia Bottoms Hardwick and the late Robert Hardwick. She passed away on Monday April 9, 2012 at the CaseyCounty Hospital in Liberty, Casey County, KY, having attained the age of 89 years, 11 months, and 5 days. She was a housewife and attended the Block Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her mother Jamamia BottomsHardwick; father Robert Hardwick and her spouse Elmer (Ted) Rodgers; twodaughters, Thelma Louise Rodgers and Ellen Rose Rodgers; four sons, Buell, Gary, Clead and Luther Rodgers, four grandchildren, two brothers; Hershel and Ernest Hardwick, three sisters; Mattie, Annie and Beachel Lee.
