Mary Shively Marcum, Taylor Co., KY (1923 - 2012) She was the matriarch of a large, respected Taylor Co., KY family and a native of Marion County, KY. She leaves 20 direct living descendants. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She was a retired cafeteria worker in the Marion County School System. Mary Shively Marcum, 88, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 6:30pmET,, Friday, April 6, 2012 in Campbellsville, KY. The prayer vigil was at 7pmET/6pmCT, Sunday April 8, 2012, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY. The funeral mass will be at 11amET/10amCT,, Monday, April 9, 2012, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Hwy 208, between Lebanon and Campbellsville, KY, at Phillipsburg, Marion County, KY, by Rev. Jim Reinhart. Burial will be in St. Francis DeSales Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers: Kevin Abell, Scott Abell, Tammy Abell, Donnie Marcum, Jay Marcum, John Lewis Marcum, Joseph Marcum, and Melinda Marcum, Mary Shively Marcum, Taylor Co., KY (1923 - 2012) Mary Shively Marcum was the daughter of the late William Henry Shively and Florence Erma Colvin Shively. She was born in Marion County, KY, on Thursday, September 20, 1923. She died Friday, April 6, 2012 in Campbellsville, KY, at the age of 88 years, 8 months, and 16 days. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She was a retired cafeteria worker in the Marion County School System. She united in marriage to Joseph "Bennie" Marcum July 6, 1945. He preceded her in death January 9, 1983. She is survived by the following:
