Douglas Hagen, 61, Burnside, KY, died Friday, March 23, 2012, at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

Funeral services will be at 10amCT, Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Carroll Egnew and Bro. Ensley Wright the officiating clergy. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Monday, March 25, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jamestown Cemetery, North Main Street, Jamestown, KY.

He was born June 16, 1950, in Russell County, KY. He was the son of Callie Irene Scholl Shepherd and the late Donald H. Hagen. He died Friday, March 23, 2012 in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 61 years, 9 months, and 7 days.

He was a construction worker and a member of Southern Heights Christian Church, Somerset, KY.

He is survived by his mother, Callie Irene School Shepherd, and the following:
  • Three children: John Hagen, Paris, KY; Josh Hagen, Somerset, KY; and Callie Rogers, Stanton, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Kayanna Thatcher, Elisabeth and Tucker

  • One sister: Barbara Cunningham, Indianapolis, IN
Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
