COLUMBIA, KY - Sloppy playing conditions due to a full day and night of rain have forced the Lindsey Wilson College softball team to cancel its doubleheader with Madonna (Michigan) on Sunday, March 18, 2018, on the final day of the LWC/Campbellsville Classic.

Originally scheduled for a 10amCT start, the games will not be pushed back due to travel time for Madonna heading back to Livonia, Mich., and will not be made up later in the season.Six games were on the schedule in the classic for Lindsey Wilson, but with inclement weather taking over southern Kentucky it played just three.

The Blue Raiders swept a doubleheader against Calumet College of St. Joseph (Ind.) on Friday before losing a single game to Davenport (Mich.) 1-0 on Saturday.Lindsey Wilson (25-5) wont be off the field for long as it hosts two home Mid-South Conference doubleheaders this week:
