Guest Editorial: We can clean up the county without getting paid

About gumption, and doing the right thing.
"At least the ones who throw out the trash can't say 'People get paid to pick up the trash so we will just give them some more to pick up' " - MAURY LEWIS

Do we have to be paid to get out and pick up trash that is making our community look trashy?

Do we have to be fed to get out and get some exercise and breathe some fresh air? Can we have a pride clean up that doesn't cost the county anything?

Will your group still pick up trash for free?

We could all brown bag or bring cooler lunches and still meet at the roadside park and eat together.

I would like to hear the thoughts of other people on this subject.

At least the ones who throw out the trash can't say "People get paid to pick up the trash so we will just give them some more to pick up"

THIS IS OUR COUNTY, PEOPLE. - Maury E Lewis
