SGM (Ret) John P. Wyche, Jr. of Virginia died Saturday, February 25, 2012, in Virginia after a battle with cancer.

The family of John P. Wyche, Jr. will receive friends Monday, March 19 from 1:30 til 5 p.m. at the Vienna Presbyterian Church, 124 Park Street, NE, Vienna, Virginia. Interment will be held at a later date in the Arlington National Cemetery.



He is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Vanessa and Martin Fend and Felica Wyche of Limburg, Germany

  • Grandson: Phillip

  • Nephew: Harold Mason of Wilmington, Delaware

  • Three great nieces

  • A special friend Lisha Norris-Maddox of Woodbridge, VA and son James and Nicole Maddox and granddaughter Seleia Maddox of Huntsville, Alabama.
John retired from the United States Army after he served over 28 years as a Cavalry Scout with a culminating assignment in HQDA DAMO-TR G-3/5/7.
