Sparksville Tank raising delayed until Tuesday, March 13, 2012 Lenny Stone, General Manager of the Columbia/Adair Utilities District, called at 2:29pmCT, Monday, March 12, 2012, to let everyone know that the Caldwell Tank Company has decided to delay the raising of the tank for the new 750,000 gallon Sparksville Water Tower until 8amCT, Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Plans had been to raise the tank today, starting at 1pmCT, but the delay was necessitated because the crew was getting a late start and because of windy conditions today.
