James A. Salyers, Casey County, KY (1935-2012) He was a member of a large, respected Casey County, KY, family. He was a retired brick mason and a member of the Mount Olive ChristianChurch James A. (Jimmy) Salyers, 77, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the CaseyCounty Hospital in Liberty, Kentucky. Visitation will begin after 5pmET/4pmCT, Saturday evening March 10, 2012, at the Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 N. KY 49, Liberty, KY, and after 12pm noon ET/11amCT, Sunday, March 11, 2012, at The Mount Olive ChristianChurch, N. KY 837 in Casey County, KY. Funeral Services officiated by Reverend Greg Powell will start at 2pmET/1pmCT, Sunday, March 11, 2012 at the Mt. Olive Christian Church.. Burial will follow in The Salyers Cemetery. Jimmy was the son of the late Marcus and EvaRoy Salyers. He was born on February 4, 1935 inWaynesburg, Kentucky. He died Thursday, March 8, 2012, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 77 years, 1 month, and four days. He was a retired brick mason and a member of the Mount Olive ChristianChurch. He was also preceded in death by one daughter; Sherry Todd, three brothers;Fritz, Everett and Carroll Salyers, and two sisters; Freda Watson and Violet Sims. Survivors include the following:
