Lee Murphy says KY 49 best scenery in Kentucky Throws out challenging declaration that there is not a better highway to drive on than highway KY 49. With scientific proof that we generally give higher positives to the last place seen and not ever being willing to be controversial, confrontational or in in way willing to steer things up, we won't argue with Lee Murphy. But we'll allow others, if rules of Civil Discourse are maintained to do so. We would entertain notions from persons advocating KY 704, Wilson Creek Road, KY 88; KY 70 in Casey, Taylor, Green and ol' Met, KY 90, or Crocus to Creelsboro, or KY 768 or something other such. Viewers of CM will demand, of course, narratives of near poetry and photographic proof, same as a BBC audiences would. -EW Lee Murphy writes: As I resident of Kentucky 49 I am almost certain the swinging bridge in the picture is actually in Marion County. The stream is Big South Fork whose waters from Rush Branch flow into. I am unsure as to the owner of the property on which the bridge is located, but I was thinking the owners were an Evans family. There is not a better highway in Kentucky to drive on than Highway 49. --Lee MurphyThanks! Lee Murphy.
