Jailer commends 9 minute apprehension of Class D walk away James D. Whitaker fled Restricted Custody By Rick Wilson I wish to commend the quick action by staff of the 911 Center, Columbia City Police Department, the Adair County Sheriff's office, other inmates and staff in apprehending James Whitaker, a non-violent, State Class D inmate who fled from the Restricted Custody Center on Highway 55 north on Saturday, February 18, 2012. The inmate was back in custody in 9 minutes after Class D staff called 911. Everyone working together made this a great outcome. Thank you, s/Rick Wilson, Adair County Jailer This story was posted on 2012-02-19 12:46:27
