Wallace L. Harris, Jr., Franklin, KY (d. Feb. 12, 2012)

He was retired from Houchens Industries, was of the Baptist faith, and was a Navy Veteran, and had relatives in Adair County, KY

Mr. Wallace L. "Walley" Harris, Jr., age 78 of Woodburn, died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral service will be Thursday, February 16, 2012, at 1pmCT at Crafton Funeral Home, 512 East Cedar Street, Franklin KY with burial in Woodburn Cemetery with military rites being conducted by the Simpson County Honor Guard.



A native of Todd Co., he was the son of the late Wallace L. Harris, Sr., and Trudy Naylor. He was retired from Houchens Industries, and was of the Baptist faith and a Navy veteran.

Survivors include:
  • His wife: Maetrie Sparks Harris of Woodburn

  • One sister: Sybil Smith of Smiths Grove, KY

  • Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, including great-niece, Hanna (Billy) Rowe of Columbia, KY

  • Great-nephews and cousins, including Earnest Sparks of Columbia, KY
