Henry Auditorium, 210 Lindsey Wilson Street, Columbia, KY Click on headline for story w/photo(s) By Duane Bonifer News from Lindsey Wilson College Three area residents took top honors in the 2012 "Lindsey Wilson College Idol," held Monday night, February 13, 2012, at the college's V.P. Henry Auditorium. Re-Shae Barnes of Somerset, KY, took first place, Nicole Burton of Liberty, KY, came in second and Paige Hutchinson of Columbia finished third. The event was sponsored by the LWC Student Government Association. The three Lindsey Wilson students competed in two preliminary rounds, held last week. The six finalists competed in two final rounds on Monday night. The student contestants were judged by a three-member LWC faculty and staff panel and also by audience input. As part of his first-place finish, Barnes will get to perform later this semester at Cafe on the Square, 212 Public Square.
