Reva Maxine Whittle, Whittle Road, Russell Springs, KY died Friday, February 10, 2012, in Norton Audubon Hospital, Louisville, KY, at the age of 82 years, 10 months, months, and 17 days.

The funeral services wiill be at 2pmCT, Wednesday, February 15 2012 at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Richie Curtis the officiating clergy. Visitation will be after 12pm noon CT, Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Sunshine Road, Russell Springs, KY.

She was born March 24, 1929 , in Rockcastle County, KY. She ws the daughter of the late Gracie Adams Elder and the late James Elder. She died Friday, February 10, 2012, in Norton Audubon Hospital, Louisville, KY, at the age of 82 years, 10 months, months, and 17 days.She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Grove Separate Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by five sisters and 3 brothers. .

She is survived by the following:
  • Three children: Gail Schultz, Susanville, CA; Patricia Lawrence, Jonesville, KY; and Gene (Lynne) Anders, Onlaska, Texas

  • Three grandchildren

  • Five great grandchildren:

  • One sister: Marcell Elder, New Richmond, OH

  • Four brothers: Cleatus Elder, taylor Mill, KY; David Elder, Eubank, KY; Graden Elder, Crab Orchard, KY; and Kenneth Elder, Florence, KY
She was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.

Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangements.
