Parents of Special Needs Children need to keep paperwork, caseworker advises Kim Hughes writes: Just a friendly reminder to any parent or guardian who has had a family member in the special education program: It is very important to retain important documents, such as IEPs and psychological exams. These documents may be needed in the future if the individual pursues admission into any of the waiver programs offered by the state.
