We will be having our annual yardsale during Downtown Days in October and our bake and craft sale during Christmas in Columbia. Proceeds go to the scholarship fund. Ladies be saving up your items for the yardsale and planning to make your best baked goods or craft items for these events. I would like to thank the group of ladies who served with me in the past two years for all their hard work and support during our many events. Cynthia Rowe served as vice-president; Evelyn Phelps, treasurer and membership chair; and Pam Shearer, secretary. Special thanks to our most senior member, Miss Louise Brock, for continuing to bake her delicious desserts. Many thanks to our wonderful members. --Vicky This story was posted on 2012-02-09 02:21:27
