Joseph Hainey, 65, Nelson Road, Russell Springs, KY, died Sunday, February 5, 2012, at Newton Medical Center, Covington, GA.

Private services will be held at 11amCT, Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Salem Cemetery, Russell County, KY, with Elder Larold Gosser and Elder Joe Gosser officiating. There will be a private viewing 9am-11amCT, Thursday. Private burial will be in Salem Cemetery.



Pallbearers: Jimmy hare, James Keen, Richard Keen, Preston Richardson, Shane Richardson, and Brad Rexroat.

Joseph Hainey, 65, Russell County, KY (1946-2012)

He was born October 26, 1946, in Pulaski County, KY. He was the son of Maxine Ashbrook Hainey, who survives, and the late Edwin Hainey. He died Sunday, February 5, 2012, in Covington, Newton County, GA, at the age of 65 years, 2 months, and 10 days.

He was a carpenter and a member of Salem United Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Keen Hainey, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • One daughter: Danella Joe Height, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Alyssa Hare and Madison Hare, Russell Springs, KY

  • One step granddaughter: Cheyenne Height, Anderson, TN.

  • His mother: Maxine Hainey, Jamestown, KY

  • Two brothers: Larry Hainey, Greenwood, IN; and Harry Lee Hainey, Nancy, KY
The family suggests memorials to Salem Cemetery. These can be made at the Bernard Funeral Home,

Bernard Funeral Home, 367 Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, in charge of arrangments.
