Paskel B. Spaw, Casey Co., KY native (1934-2012)

He was a member of a large, respected Casey County, KY family. He was raised in Athens church of Christ. He had retired from Hillerich & Bradsby Company, Louiville, KY, and loved horse farming.

Paskel B. Spaw passed away Sunday February 5, 2012 in Pekin, Indiana. He was 78.

Funeral services are 11amET/10amCT, Wednesday February 8, 2012 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Kenny Spaw and Bro. Thad Eubanks officiating. Burial will be at Poplar Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 6pm-9pmET/5pm-8pmCT, Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at the funeral home.



Paskel B. Spaw, Casey Co., KY native (1934-2012)

Born Monday, February 5, 1934 in Casey County, KY. He was the son of the late Coy and Clearie Durham Spaw. He died Sunday, February 5, 2012, in Pekin, Washington County, Indiana, at the age of 78 years. He was raised in Athens Church of Christ, retired from Hillerich & Bradsby Company in Louisville, KY and loved horse farming.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three children: Sharon (Dennis) Grider of Liberty, KY; Tony Spaw of Pekin , Indiana; and Stacey(Becky) Spaw of Louisville, KY

  • Seven grandchildren: Amie Adkins, Neal Grider, Tiffany Renfrow and Anthony, Josh, Logan and Sheena Spaw

  • Seven great-grandchildren

  • Sister: Catherine Hall of Charlestown, Indiana

  • Several nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Haskel Spaw and sister, Louvenia Rigney.
