Reva Grant, Adair County, KY (1936-2012)

She was a member of a large, highly regarded family of Adair and Russell Counties, KY. She was a member of the Fairview Separate Baptist Church and was retired from Borg Warner auto assembly plant in Bellwood, Illinois.

Reva Grant, age 75 of 148 Frank Road, Jamestown, KY passed away Friday, January 20, 2012 at 11:50amCT, at her home after several months illness.

The funeral service is Wednesday January 25, 2012 at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Doug Baldwin and Bro. Randy Brown the officiating clergy.Interment will be in the Dixon Cemetery, Jamestown, KY. The family request visitation after 3pmCT on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary.



Pallbearers: Billy Grant, Derrick Helm, Larry Helm, Chris Young, Mark Young, and Troy Young.

Honorary pallbearers: Marie Helm, Wanda Helm, Irene Loy, Jeanette Loy, Ruth Loy, Lillie Pike, Larimie Richardson, and Linda Young.


Reva Grant, Adair County, KY (1936-2012)

She was born September 27, 1936 the daughter of the late Frank and Alma Pierce Hill of Russell County, KY. She died Friday, January 20, 2012, at the age of 75 years, 3 months, and 23 days.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Grant of Jamestown, KY, and the following:
  • One daughter: Sharon Kay Warbiany and husband Len of Alsip, Illinois

  • One daughter in law: Sue Grant of Elwood, Illinois

  • Six grandchildren: Shaw Warbiany, Shannon Donato and Phillip Warbiany, Michael Grant, Michelle Slattery and James Grant

  • And by 10 great grandchildren

  • also survived by several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by a son Roger Glenn Grant in May 2011And by her two brothers, John Hill and Collin Hill.

Mrs. Grant was a member of the Fairview Separate Baptist Church and was retired from Borg Warner auto assembly plant in Bellwood, Illinois.

Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, in charge of arrangements.
