Ken McDonald, Taylor Co., KY (1932-2012)

He was highly respected member of the Taylor County , KY, community. He was a member and served as a deacon in the Campbellsville Baptist Church. He was retired after serving as the District Manager of the Social Security Office in Campbellsville, KY. He was a graduate of Union College in his native , Knox County, KY. He was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean War and will be laid to rest in Lebanon National Cemetery

Graveside services will be at 2:30pmET/1:30pmCT, Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the Lebanon National Cemetery, 20 Hwy 208, Lebanon, KY, by Dr. James Jones.



Ken McDonald, Taylor Co., KY (1932-2012)

Ken McDonald was the son of the late Charles McDonald and Bessie Swafford McDonald. He was born July 11, 1932, in Knox County, KY. He died , Saturday, January 14, 2012 in Campbellsville, Taylor Co., KY, at the age of 79 years, 6 months, and 3 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.

He was retired District Manager of the Social Security Administration.

He was a graduate of Union College and active in local civic and community activities.

He served his country honorably in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Besides his wife, Beulah McDonald, he is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Jo Ann McDonald Rice and husband, Tim of Danville, KY; and Lisa Walters and husband, Bill of Richmond, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Evan Rice and fiancee, Carissa Castro; Alex Rice, Alan Walters, Sara Walters and Kate Walters

  • And many other relatives and friends
