Ice Draped Walls of Plum Point
By Billy Joe Fudge
Ice draped walls of Plum Point
All topped with cedars green,
Stir passions deep within
Of distant winter scenes.

No we cannot go there
Nor feel the cutting cold,
But we can love and live
As in those days of old.

Ice draped walls of Plum Point
Carry me in my mind
To snowy, woodland treks
And shelters 'neath the pine.

No we cannot go there
Nor feel the cutting cold,
But we can love and live
As in those days of old.

Ice draped walls of Plum Point
Stand tall 'gainst winter sky,
Bidding us to rapture
Of winter bliss gone by.

No we cannot go there
Nor feel the cutting cold,
But we can love and live
As in those days of old.

Ice draped walls of Plum Point
Billboards of what we had,
Sentinels standing guard
O'er mem'ries good and bad.

No we cannot go there
Nor feel the cutting cold,
But we can love and live
As in those days of old.
